Biography
Rebecca Ulrich serves as a Professional Staff Member on the House Homeland Security Committee and the Military Legislative Assistant for Congressman Jeff Duncan (R-SC) where she handles the acquisition/procurement, duplication, fraud, and waste portfolios for the Oversight and Management Efficiency Subcommittee and the national security policy portfolio for Mr. Duncan’s personal office. In the 112thCongress, she worked on legislation to address Iran’s activity in the Western Hemisphere that became P.L. 112-220. In the 113th Congress, she has worked on policies aimed at strengthening accountability on Iran sanctions, protecting U.S. sovereignty, requiring greater transparency and fiscal discipline from the Departments of Homeland Security and State, and improving U.S.-EU relations through work with the Transatlantic Parliamentary Group on Counterterrorism. Rebecca holds a B.A. in English from Bob Jones University and is currently pursuing a M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
