Biography
Milan Patel is a U.S. Air Force officer currently serving as a defense fellow to Rep. Austin Scott (R-GA). Throughout his military career as an RPA Pilot, he has held leadership positions across multiple units, directing combat missions with MQ-1 and MQ-9 aircraft in support of operations under European Command, Central Command, and Africa Command. Before his fellowship, Milan served as director of operations and acting commander at the Atlanta Military Entrance Processing Station — the fourth busiest of 65 nationwide — where he oversaw the assessment of mental aptitude and physical fitness, enabling the enlistment of more than 14,000 recruits annually across seven uniformed services. Milan is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. in computer science and holds a master’s degree in military operational art and science, with a concentration in joint warfare, from Air University.
