Michael McBride

Michael McBride is an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where he works as a consultant for the Department of Defense. Michael served in the Army as an Infantry Officer with three deployments to Afghanistan. He deployed with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) partnering with Afghan National Security Forces to conduct counterinsurgency operations and twice with the 75th Ranger Regiment where he led special operations raids. Michael’s military decorations include the Bronze Star with oak leaf cluster, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, Ranger Qualification Tab, Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge. Michael’s commentary has been published in numerous outlets and often presents on security issues to audiences within the U.S. government. Michael holds a M.A. in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and a B.A. in History from Brown University.
