Melissa English is a Major in the U.S. Air Force, currently assigned to the J2 at the Pentagon. She previously was a 2018-2019 Air Force Strategic Policy Fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Syria Desk at the State Department. Melissa is originally from Western, NY and has been in the Air Force for 14 years. She has deployed twice to Qatar in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
