Biography
Matt C. Pinsker is a homeland security professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserves, and owner of a criminal defense law firm. He has previously worked as a state magistrate and prosecutor as well as a federal special prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice. He has written a textbook in national security law and policy, has multiple publications in constitutional law issues, and is currently under contract for a book about border security and human trafficking. He holds an LLM in National Security & U.S. Foreign Relations Law from the George Washington University Law School, a J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary.
