Lisa LeBourgeois

Lisa LeBourgeois is associate director of events at FDD. Before joining FDD she worked as Cultural Affairs Director at the Embassy of Israel to the United States, where she developed and implemented cultural diplomacy initiatives, designed events and programs, and guided strategic public engagement. She has additional experience managing external outreach at the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest, the Consulate General of France in Houston, and as a public affairs consultant.

Lisa holds an M.A. in Global Communication with a public diplomacy concentration from George Washington University and a B.A. in International Studies from Texas A&M University. Her research examines soft and sharp power in participatory digital cultures, and the dynamics between politics, public diplomacy, and global entertainment. She speaks French.
