Libbie Shah

Libbie Shah is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and a combat veteran currently serving on Active Duty in Checkmate, a Headquarters Air Force Strategic Studies Group. As an Intelligence Officer she has spent 17 years in the Intelligence Community, serving on Active Duty, as a government civilian and as a Department of Defense contractor. She has worked with multiple intelligence agencies, at the Air Force unit level as a squadron Director of Operations and has completed two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. In her current role in Checkmate, she provides expertise and insight on the use of U.S., ally and partner airpower in the Indo-Pacific Theater to provide senior Department of the Air Force leaders with decision-quality information. Libbie earned her bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and her MBA from American University in Washington, DC.
