Biography
Leslie Shedd currently serves as the communications director and senior advisor for the House Foreign Affairs Committee as well as the deputy chief of staff for communications in Chairman Michael McCaul’s personal office. Leslie returned to Capitol Hill in March 2020 after several years of working in senior communications positions on campaigns, including U.S. Senate campaigns in Georgia, Maryland, and Ohio, and on Carly Fiorina’s presidential campaign as her national press secretary. She also served as the senior vice president at Firehouse Strategies and as the vice president of communications at the National Restaurant Association. Her prior Hill work includes serving as communications director for then Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) and Rep. Frank Lucas (R-OK), as deputy press secretary for then Rep.
