Juan Pablo Villasmil is a staff writer at The Spectator and a research fellow at the Center for a Secure Free Society. J.P.’s work has been featured in Foreign Policy, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and The Wilson Center’s New Security Beat. He is also a graduate student in Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program, where he serves as a senator in student government and as an associate editor for the Georgetown Security Studies Review.
