Biography
Jen Judson is the Land Warfare Reporter for Defense News where she delivers the news through print and on-camera coverage. She has covered defense in the Washington D.C. area since 2011. She was previously a Reporter at Politico and Inside Defense. Jen currently serves as the 115th President of the National Press Club. She is the recipient of the 2014 National Press Club’s Best Analytical Reporting Journalism Award for her coverage on the Army’s controversial aviation restructure initiative. She has also won several Defense Media Awards including best young defense journalist in 2018. Jen began her reporting career in Boston, Massachusetts as a State House Correspondent for the MetroWest Daily News. She also covered city government for the Daily News Tribune in Waltham, Massachusetts and was a jack-of-all-trades reporter at the Norwood Transcript and Bulletin. She holds a Master of Science in Print Journalism from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
