Isabel Aldunate is a seasoned communications strategist with a rich background in political and advocacy communications. She began her career as the deputy national press secretary for then Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and later served as the deputy press secretary for Andrew Gillum’s historic gubernatorial campaign in Florida. Isabel played pivotal roles in national campaigns, including handling surrogate communications and Hispanic media for the Biden for President campaign and serving as the surrogates communications director for the Presidential Inaugural Committee. She continued her impact in government as the deputy communications director for the White House Office of Management and Budget and later as the director of media relations for the AFL-CIO, amplifying workers’ voices on a national stage. Isabel holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a master’s degree in political communication from American University.
