Evan Karlik

Evan Karlik is an aerospace engineering duty officer in the U.S. Navy, currently serving in a one-year fellowship in the office of Congressman Joe Courtney. Prior to Capitol Hill, Evan worked as a satellite payload program manager and system engineer while assigned to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command. A former P-3C Orion maritime patrol pilot, he has flown extensive anti-submarine and maritime domain awareness missions throughout the Mediterranean, and has totaled nearly 350 combat flight hours on reconnaissance missions overland North Africa. Evan holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from MIT, a M.S. in aerospace engineering from Stanford University, and a public management degree from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. He is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and the Navy Space Cadre, and is designated a Naval Aviator and Information Warfare Officer.
