Emily Amick

Emily Amick is an attorney at the Perles Law Firm where she represents American victims of terrorism in lawsuits against state-sponsors of terror.  She was previously counsel to Senator Charles E. Schumer, working on issues such as terrorism, gun control and surveillance. Prior to working on the hill, Emily was an attorney at Sanctuary for Families in New York City, where she provided legal representation to human trafficking victims and was the legislative director of the New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition. Emily attended Wellesley College, holds an MA in journalism from University of Alabama, a JD from Columbia University School of Law and an LLM in international criminal law from the University of Amsterdam.
