Biography

Major Donavan Laskey is a U.S. Air Force Officer currently serving in the Secretary of the Air Force’s Legislative Liaison Office. Prior to his current assignment, he served as a Department of Defense Legislative Fellow in the office of Representative Jim Cooper, of Nashville TN. He has a broad background including air mobility, contingency response, interagency and coalition operations, and intelligence and has deployed multiple time in support of Operations in the Balkans and Middle East. Donavan is a senior pilot with over 3800 hours in C-130E/H and J and the RC-135 including more than 500 combat hours. He holds a Community College of the Air Force Associates Degree in Communications, an Undergraduate Degree in History and Foreign Language a Graduate Certificate from the Government Affairs Institute, Georgetown University, and a Graduate degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. He is a distinguished graduate of Squadron Officer School and a graduate of Air Command and Staff College.
