U.S. European Command
Chris Peters is a Navy officer and the chief of Senate congressional affairs for U.S. European Command. During his military career, he has served in leadership roles on four ships with five deployments, conducting missions ranging from ballistic missile defense in the Arabian Gulf to carrier strike group operations in the South China Sea. Chris also spent a tour planning and overseeing maritime operations at the U.S. fleet headquarters in Bahrain. He has extensive experience in congressional affairs, working with both the Navy’s Office of Legislative Affairs and European Command Congressional Affairs. In his current role, he has worked closely with the Senate, supporting their oversight of U.S. security assistance to Ukraine. Chris is a graduate of The George Washington University with a B.A. in political science and Boston University with an MBA.
