Ben Kutler

Ben Kutler is a commodities analyst at Business Monitor International, a political risk and macroeconomic research firm part of the Fitch Group, in New York. In 2012 he received his Master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where he concentrated in strategic studies and international finance. Prior to SAIS, he lived in Beijing for two years, where he studied Mandarin and worked for APCO Worldwide, a US-based public affairs, government relations, and investor relations consultancy. In the summer of 2011 he returned to Beijing to complete an internship at the US Embassy with the Economic Section of the Department of State. Ben earned his Bachelor’s degree in history and politics from Columbia University in 2007.
