Arlene Fetizanan

Arlene Fetizanan is a policy advisor in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) International Program at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Her portfolio includes China, Central Asia, and Russia. She oversees the implementation of the U.S.-China Renewable Energy Partnership and leads energy efficiency projects to accelerate the speed and scale of clean energy market growth. Previously, Arlene was a senior program manager at the Alliance to Save Energy, where she managed technical assistance projects in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and Central America. Through her work she has championed diversifying energy resources and modernizing infrastructure to secure energy independence. Arlene earned a Master in Planning from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics from American University.
