Alison Kamataris

Biography
Alison Kamataris is a Colonel in the U.S. Air Force serving as the Assistant Deputy Director for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operations for the Joint Staff, J3. In addition to completing a command tour at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Colonel Kamataris was selected for the Legislative Defense Fellow program, and served in the Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Commander’s Action Group. She was previously assigned as the Deputy Group Commander for DGS-1 before attending the Joint Advanced Warfighter School in residence. Her overseas and deployed time include three remote tours to Korea and Turkey and six deployments to the Central Command theater of operations. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Norwich University as part of the Corps of Cadets in 1998, and went on to get a Master’s Degree in Strategic Intelligence, as well as a second Master’s Degree in Joint Campaign Planning and Strategy.
