Alexandra Kilgore

Alexandra Kilgore is a major in the U.S. Army, currently leading the Strategic Initiatives Group for the Office of the Under Secretary of War Comptroller, Budget and Appropriation Affairs. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2012 and completed her graduate degree in public administration at Harvard in 2022. She served in the Republic of Korea; Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Fort Stewart, Georgia, where she led multiple types of combat formations, participated in numerous training exercises with Pacific and NATO allies, and commanded the only Airborne Air Defense unit in the Army. She most recently completed a three-year tour in the Headquarters Department of the Army, including work in the G-3/5/7 (Operations and Plans), the G-1 (Personnel), and as a policy advisor in the Office of the deputy under secretary of the Army.
