Biography
Alexa Walker is the Director of Coalitions and Member Services at the Republican Study Committee, one of the oldest caucuses in the House of Representatives. Serving in a senior role under former Chairmen Mark Walker (NC-06) and Mike Johnson (LA-04), she continues to serve under the current Chairman Jim Banks (IN-03). Alexa leads the caucus’ strategic outreach and manages communication to and coordination with coalition allies. Additionally, she works closely with the professional policy staff on the introduction of legislative proposals and policy reports across a broad portfolio of domestic and foreign issues. She also serves as a senior advisor and internal liaison to RSC Members and their staff. Prior to her role at RSC, Alexa worked for and advised several Members of Congress including Mark Walker (NC-06), Dave Brat (VA-07) and Raul Labrador (ID-01). She holds a B.A. in International Relations, Intercultural Communication and Spanish from Boise State University in Idaho, and is a native of Portland, Oregon.
