Aaron Richards

Aaron Richards is a Policy Analyst with the Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) providing technical and analytical support in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters regarding the national strategic deterrent.  In his role, he supports efforts related to international programs of cooperation on issues related to atomic energy between the U.S. and its allies and coordination of DoD countering nuclear threat initiatives, both internally and across the U.S. Government.  Prior to working for SAIC, Aaron was a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Consulting LLP supporting clients within the Department of Homeland Security.  Last fall, he also completed the George C. Marshall Fellowship sponsored by The Heritage Foundation aimed at cultivating the next generation of strategic leaders in national security and foreign policy.  Aaron holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hofstra University and an M.S. in Defense and Strategic Studies from Missouri State University.
