Israel’s Year of Battles Against Tehran’s Proxies and Pawns

Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, slaughtering men, women, children, babies. Raping. Torturing. Dragging civilians into Gaza and holding them hostage in an elaborate subterranean fortress Hamas had built with help from the Islamic Republic.

One day later, on Oct. 8, Tehran-backed Hezbollah began firing missiles from Lebanon at Israel’s northern territories, destroying villages and farms, setting fire to forests, killing children, forcing tens of thousands of Israelis to leave their homes.

From Yemen, the Houthi rebels also have fired missiles at Israel. From Syria and Iraq, Shia militias have attacked Israel as well. In the West Bank, terrorist cells planned and in some cases carried out attacks on Israeli civilians.

And on April 13 and then again on Oct. 1, Iran’s unleashed major airstrikes, hundreds of ballistic missiles, against Israel directly from Iranian soil.

To discuss these ongoing battles in the long and openly genocidal war that Iran’s jihadist regime has been waging against Israel since it took power in the Islamic Revolution of 1979 – host Cliff May is joined by his FDD colleagues Jonathan Schanzer and Eyal Hulata.
