U.S. Stops CIA Drone Strikes in Pakistan to Halt Decline in Shaky Relations: Report

The U.S. has put drone strikes in Pakistan “on hold” to save a post-9/11 allegiance that’s on life support, Long War Journal reports.

An official told the blog that a strike now could “push U.S.-Pakistan relations past the point of no return.” …

The last strike took place Nov. 17, LWJ reports.

The campaign, however, angered many Pakistanis and other Muslims around the world before its shaky relationship with the U.S. went from bad to worse this year.
