Iran Exploited Earthquake to Flood Weapons into Syria
After a February 6 earthquake claimed more than 6,000 Syrian lives, Iran sent the Damascus regime weapons and military equipment aboard flights supposedly bringing humanitarian aid, according to a Reuters investigation. Israeli intelligence agencies saw through this pretext, resulting in Israeli airstrikes against these cargos once delivered.

Terrorists Arrested as Iran-backed Militants Foment Chaos in West Bank
Israeli security forces arrested five members of a Palestinian terror cell in Jenin on Tuesday, hours before they planned to carry out an attack. Security forces also confiscated ammunition and military equipment from the group. While it is unclear which organization the individuals arrested were affiliated with, the militant groups Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades — both of which are backed by Iran — announced their members clashed with Israeli troops during the raid.

U.S. Sends Submarine to Middle East to Counter Iranian Threats to Maritime Trade
The American nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine USS Florida arrived in the Middle East and now operates under the command of the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet, signaling to the regime in Tehran that the United States will not tolerate Iranian activities targeting its troops and shipping, or those of its allies.

Iran Attacking Israel on Multiple Fronts
Attacks on Israel from four separate arenas in as many days demonstrate Iran’s success in penetrating the region. On Wednesday and Thursday, terrorists in Gaza fired rockets into southern Israel. On Thursday, Palestinian factions in Lebanon fired a barrage of rockets into northern Israel. On Friday, two separate terror attacks — one in Tel Aviv and another in the West Bank — killed four and wounded several more. On Saturday evening, two separate salvos of rockets were fired at Israel from Syria. In the midst of this escalation, senior Hamas officials met with Hezbollah’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut, highlighting the deepened cooperation the Iran-backed terror organizations enjoy.
