Financing of activities at the Fondation is based on a triple footing:

• public sources
• multilateral sources
• private sources

Since its inception, the FdD has received support from numerous local, regional, national and international entities, companies in the private sector, independent bodies and individuals.

The Fondation does not pursue lucrative goals and its activities are of recognized public interest. It is based in Geneva and works in close collaboration with a vast network of partners in Switzerland, Europe and elsewhere in the world. It conducts activities at the local, national, cross border, European and international levels.
